Green Course's activities are being conducted in parallel to the academic year, and the beginning of the current one was marked with a tribute event (recent September) to Green Course volunteers/ with the participation of GC's professional staff, past and present volunteers, board members, supporters and friends.
For the first time in the history of our organization we can mark an achievement of 50% continuity among Community Organizers, together with key activists turning to Community Organizers: we open the year with 16 chapters and 16 Community Organizers: Ben-Gurion University (Beer Sheva), SeminarHakibuzim (Tel Aviv), 2 organizers from Tel Aviv University, Haifa University, Rainier community, Tel Hai College (Kiryat Shmona), Givat Ram (Jerusalem), Sapir College (Sderot), Michmoret Campus, Academic College of Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Faculty of Agriculture in Rehovot, two organizers from Har Hazofim (Jerusalem), Community chapter (Jerusalem).
This unprecedented achievement is one of the products resulting from 2 significant and major processes held during the past year:
1. Strategic process, examining and reframing core organizational issues.
2.Matan (Investing in the community)"Assessment and Evaluation Process", evaluating the Environmental Leadership program. The products of these two processes can already be seen in our activities and in our organizational work plans now being formulated.
