In recent months Green Course continued to operate and raise public awareness in many of the environmental struggles in Israel: Natural Gas campaign- mass public demonstrations, media coverage and actions to increase public pressure to change the outline (including petitions for the Supreme Court). The fight against polluting industry in Haifa-massive media coverage, grand public national demonstrations and participation in relevant committees (Inc. Taking part in an appeal committee which examines the topic these days). Organizing national Climate Change Rallies (the biggest in Israel so far) and initiating the first ever movement dealing with this topic. Raising public awareness live shipments issue to minimize animals suffering and environmental pollution. Food Forest amazing project in Tel-Aviv is reaching its final stages which will allow ecological restoration aside providing a community space. Green Course was also involved in restoring the budget to the Botanic Gardens, which were in danger of closing, and in stopping the poultry Law.
Environment reality in Israel would have definitely looked different without Green Course actions.
