Enduring the journey of handing over nutritional milk glasses at two hospitals

During the last month, For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) gave more than 900 glasses of nutritious milk to 120 pediatric patients at the National Hospital of Acupuncture and 480 glasses of nutritious milk to 60 children at K Hospital, Tan Trieu Branch. The entire budget of this activity is extracted from the profits of weekly online Charity Fair on VSF's Fanpage and sponsorship from GlobalGiving.

The majority of pediatric patients are in severe medical conditions which require a long treatment period. There are many patients suffering from difficult circumstances that are in need of both financial and mental support. The innocent smiles of the children and the happiness of their relatives when receiving the fresh milk have motivated us to carry on the journey of giving love to children in particular and the community in general.

At this time, the Covid-19 pandemic has not been completely controlled, therefore the number of people visiting the hospitals is limited due to social-distancing regulations.

"Restrictions applied during the pandemic have prohibited the visit of many volunteering groups. It is such a loss for the joy of our children." - said Ms. Ngo Hong Nham, an officer of the hospital's Social Work Department.

VSF is looking forward to bringing support and positive effect on pediatric patients at these hospitals through tons of nutritious milk glasses

VSF sincerely thanks the companionship and regular contribution of individual and unit donors during the past time. Please keep up with the program to bring more nutrition to the minor patients in Hanoi.
