With the goal of providing a perfect holiday for the children, VSF collaborated with hospitals, the Women's Union, and mass organizations to give them small but heartfelt gifts.
We would like to send our sincere thanks to the organizations and sponsors who have always accompanied VSF on the journey of community engagement.
On the occasion of the Year of the Tiger 2022, For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) coordinated with the Social Affair Department of the National Hospital of Acupuncture to donate 200 glasses of milk to 25 pediatric patients receiving treatment at the hospital.
The entire budget of this activity is extracted from the profits of the weekly online Charity Fair on VSF's Fanpage and sponsorship from GlobalGiving.
In the past 3 months, VSF continued to organize 5 milk delivery trips at K Hospital, Tan Trieu Branch, E Hospital and National Hospital of Acupuncture with more than 2000 glasses of milk awarded. Hopefully with this small gift, pediatric patients and their families will be more motivated to fight the disease.
VSF sincerely thanks the companionship and regular contribution of individual and unit donors during the past time. Please keep up with the program to bring more nutrition to the minor patients.

What do you have for lunch? A bowl of cold soup to cool off on a summer day or a plate of roasted meat served with a bowl of hot rice?
As for Sung Thi H and her father, VND10,000 for the lunch with white rice, roasted peanuts and a free bowl of soup was familiar during her treatment in the National Hospital Of Acupuncture.
Sung Thi H. - a girl of the H'Mong ethnic group was born and raised in a poor family in Son La province. When she was born, she was as healthy as any other child. Unfortunately, due to high fever and convulsions, she was hospitalized and was diagnosed with encephalitis, which requires long-term treatment. Her family merely counts on agricultural production, but her parents have to sell all the garden, fields and agricultural tools to spend money for her treatment. 20-month-old H. has never smiled, she always frowns and cries because of pain and aches caused by disease. Difficulties have piled up when the COVID-19 pandemic breaks out. She and her father are in a dilemma, which is that they must stay at the hospital instead of returning to their hometown, so they have to live from hand to mouth. H.'s father sadly said: "After this period, we have no money left, so I have to take my daughter home to look after. We sold all the cattle, so we must go home".
Sung Thi H.’s family is just one of many cases in the Pediatric Ward of National Hospital Of Acupuncture who are trying to to live from hand to mouth to save money to cover treatment costs. Understanding the difficulties of pediatric patients, For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) implemented the program "Giving 3000 nutritious meals for pediatric patients in National Hospital Of Acupuncture".
From August 17th, all pediatric patients currently being treated at National Hospital of Acupuncture were given the first nutritious meals from the program. The average number of pediatric inpatients at the hospital is 100. Most of them are in extremely difficult circumstances and are seriously affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. "Receiving the meals from us, all of them were happy and even cheered because they had good meals" - Ms. Lan, officer of the Social Work Department shared. The program of giving nutritious meals lasted for 30 days. In order to comply with regulations on pandemic prevention, VSF coordinated with the Social Work Department and the Nutrition Department of the hospital to ensure delicious and hygienic meals for pediatric patients.
Sincerely thank sponsors from GlobalGiving for accompanying and supporting VSF to implement the program.

Ms. Ly Thi Hue - Chairwoman of the Women's Union (WU) of Doan Ket commune (Van Don district, Quang Ninh province) informed For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) of emotional messages. At the end of June 2021, on behalf of VSF, Ms. Hue visited and gave 192 glasses of nutritious milk (first time) to L.M.Q - one of three children with extremely difficult circumstances in Quang Ninh province who has been sponsored milk in 3 years by VSF since June 2021.
With 3-year companionship of VSF, the three children will be able to drink nutritious milk everyday - which was previously a luxury for them, in order to improve health to continue their treatment and study. The total cost of this activity is subtracted from the profits of the online charity fair on the Fanpage of VSF and sponsored by donors through GlobalGiving.
Besides, on May 13, VSF through Supportive Fund for Cancer Patients - Bright Future promptly supported 1000 glasses of nutritious milk to encourage hundreds of patients (adults and children) in "cancer neighborhood" in order to put their mind at ease during this extremely difficult period.
VSF would like to send our thanks to benefactors, groups and units who have accompanied and supported us on the journey of spreading love to the community.
Information about activities to support children in the pandemic areas will be continuously updated by VSF through:
