Giving Circle: Your Giving Keeps A Child In School

Following the conclusion of The Special Foundation’s Giving Tuesday Giving Circle Campaign, the initiative continued to maintain visibility through the GlobalGiving platform, receiving an additional $10 donation after the primary campaign period. While modest in value, the contribution reflects continued awareness of the Giving Circle model and highlights the importance of sustaining engagement beyond Giving Tuesday itself.

In the period since the last report, The Special Foundation also recorded significant institutional milestones that further strengthened the visibility and credibility of its work in the education and social impact space. The foundation was recognized as a winner at the International CSR Excellence Awards 2026 and also received recognition at the 2026 Communicator Awards in the Non-Profit Film category, acknowledging TSF’s growing impact in both community development and storytelling for social change.

The post-campaign period additionally provided an opportunity for TSF to assess lessons from the first Giving Circle cycle, review donor engagement patterns, and identify opportunities for growth in future campaigns. Insights gathered from supporter participation, volunteer amplification, and partner engagement will help shape stronger outreach, storytelling, and donor-retention strategies moving forward.

As TSF continues working toward expanding educational access for underserved children across Africa, the Giving Circle remains an important part of the foundation’s long-term vision for collective community-driven giving and sustainable educational support.
