Give safe water to 731 needy families in Rwanda

Project summary
The objectives of this project is to build 4 groundwater boreholes in Southern Rwanda to provide clean and safe water to 4 communities, supply water filters to 731 vulnerable families, including those with disabilities and train 225 family representatives on water purification, disease prevention, sewage disposal, and recycling. The goal is to improve sanitation, reduce waterborne diseases, and address issues like child labor and gender-based violence, especially among young girls fetching water from distant wells.

Activity: Water Harvesting Training

We provided water harvesting training to 35 beneficiaries. The training was about how to harvest and store water for use in the dry seasons.

Next activity

Provide water harvesting training to more beneficiaries from less advantaged communities.

Activity: Training provision on water purification practices

On 7^th of November 2025, our volunteers conducted training about water purification. Our 33 beneficiaries were trained on how to purify water and make it safe for consumption.

Next proposed activity

1. Providing water filters to at least 30 more families.
2. Providing training of water purification to more beneficiaries

Call for action
We are still calling upon donors, partners and well-wishers to join us; so that we can amply our charity activities and continue to create a change together.

Conclusion
Clean and safe water scarcity remains a public health burden that puts vulnerable people most especially children at risk. With the support of donors, well-wishers and partners, this project will continue to transform lives of beneficiaries.
