Project summary
The objectives of this project is to build 4 groundwater boreholes in Southern Rwanda to provide clean and safe water to 4 communities, supply water filters to 731 vulnerable families, including those with disabilities and train 225 family representatives on water purification, disease prevention, sewage disposal, and recycling. The goal is to improve sanitation, reduce waterborne diseases, and address issues like child labor and gender-based violence, especially among young girls fetching water from distant wells.
Activity: Second Water Harvesting Training
Our project has provided water harvesting training to 57 more beneficiaries. The training was about how to harvest and store water for use in the dry seasons.
Next activity
Providing water harvesting training to the remaining beneficiaries from less advantaged communities.
Call for action
We call upon donors and partners to join us and we change the communities for the better future.
