Fund Healthcare and Medicines in South Sudan

Your commitment to help the needy to get out of poverty is appreciated by our Team and those who will benefit most – children and women!

Current donations are totaling $10 762, - and the appeal is still running until we reach the budget goal. This is a life-saving cause which the beneficiaries are eager to see progressing.

The clinic opened in 2009. It was built collaboratively with Omilling people, donors and Hope Ofiriha, and it sees 10,000 to 15,000 patients per year. Dr. Robert and the nurses vaccinate infants, and treat chronic diseases as well as deadly infectious diseases such as malaria, typhoid, fever, and cholera. All medications are no cost to the patients and unfortunately many of the chronic disease medications (high blood pressure, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease are not available.

The clinic has been supplied with the following drugs: 10 boxes of acetaminophe to treat fever, 5 boxes of Doxcycle, and I box of primaquine to treat malaria, 12 boxes of Azithromycin, 3 boxes amoxicillin, and 4 boxes of Celuroxime to treat pneumonia, 5 boxes of Fucidin, 3 boxes of cream Fucibet, 4 boxes of Terbinafine hydrochloride, 1 box Daktacort, and 1 box Clotrimazole/Hydrocortisone to treat Skin infections.

The project also facilitated eight gynecological visits to mothers with complicated pregnancy.

 Your commitment to help the needy to get out from extreme poverty is really appreciated by our trustees, and those who benefit most- the Children!

Your gift will buy: 5 boxes of Quinine, 4 boxes Chloroquinine, and 2 boxes of doxcycle medicines. The project also buys 15 mosquito nets due to higher numbers of children suffering from malaria. These nets will be distributed to children from most affected families. The beneficiaries are eager to see this project progressing.

In addition to the match, GlobalGiving is offering a $ 1,000 bonus to the project that raises must funds and a $1,000 bonus to the project that receives the most unique donations during the campaign period. This will be the final site-wide matching campaign for GlobalGiving this year, so consider making your end-end gifts on June 13. During the most recent campaign, the matching pool was exhausted within a matter of hours so please make your gifts early!
