Well, where to start? How about with initiating the recruitment process for a new group of vulnerable young women to see who can best benefit from our life changing programme. Or perhaps a look at those taking place in their specialist training and work experience - they’ll be ready to graduate in December.
In fact, let us tell you about the drugs and substance abuse workshop delivered by Mubatirapamwe Trust. We arranged this after discovering that drugs have been a problem for some of our current girls and one admitted to using drugs as well as agreeing to get help to withdraw. She’s making great progress!
Another thing was the Global Leadership Summit where past and current students were asked to deliver presentations. A weakness one girl identified in the process was procrastination which she is now working on.
We were also delighted to receive the Megafest Platinum Award – see our social media for more.
As always thanks to you, the reader for your help changing lives for the betterment of our young women.
