Successful partnership with Global Giving and BREADS for educating girl children
Dear Donors,
Greetings from BREADS Bangalore!
The 144 children supported through GlobalGiving platform are continuing their formal education. The children have already completed half year of their academic studies and now get ready for the assessment tests coming in the month of December 2016. The month of November is a special day for the children as many of Don Bosco Centres celebrated the Children’s day with vibrant activities and talent promotion programmes of the children. The children participated in many events during the celebrations and got prices for their talents and creativity.
The girl children supported under GlobalGiving project are performing well in their academic studies and extracurricular activities. They are highly motivated and have a desire to success in life. The education changed their mind-set fully and prepared them to cope with the future challenges.
During this reporting period we were assured USD 1782.31 for this project. The money was used for the education fees, food, clothes and education materials of the poor girl children.
The support received from you through GlobalGiving platform was really a blessing for the less privileged girl children to ensure their education and growth. The children and BREADS hereby express our gratitude and happiness for the generous support to fulfill the dream of the most vulnerable girl children.
We are sure that the support will bring make champions and in turn will become the change agents of the society.
