Thank You for Your Continued Support!
By Rida Zainab | Associate, Fundraising
Dear Supporters,
Thanks to your generosity, we’ve taken an important step toward making opportunities more accessible for Persons with Disabilities in Pakistan.
This project supported the provision of wheelchairs to individuals who had long faced barriers to mobility. For someone who cannot leave their home, a wheelchair is more than just a tool, it’s the first step toward accessing education, training, and community life.
We are truly grateful for your support in helping make this possible.
While this project is now complete, our work is far from over. We are continuing this journey through our Wheels of Hope fundraiser, which remains active. Your continued support will allow us to reach more individuals waiting for the opportunity to move freely and independently.
With gratitude,
The NOWPDP Team

Empowering PWDs through Assistive Devices

We are pleased to share that six wheelchairs have been provided to persons with disabilities (PWDs) in Sujawal — one of the most impoverished districts of Sindh. These individuals experience dual marginalization, facing both economic hardship and physical barriers that limit their access to essential services. Most families in such regions are unable to afford basic assistive devices, making your support all the more transformative.
Assistive devices play a vital role in restoring autonomy, mobility, and dignity to PWDs. By facilitating access to education, employment, and healthcare, these tools enable individuals to participate more fully in society and realize their potential. For individuals living with disabilities in Sujawal, a wheelchair is more than a mobility aid — it is a lifeline that opens doors to healthcare, education, and social inclusion.
Your continued support is vital to helping us expand this mission across Pakistan. Together, we can continue to empower more persons with disabilities with the tools they need to lead independent, dignified, and fulfilling lives — and move one step closer to a more inclusive and equitable future.

Wheelchair Drive in Larkana

Under the pillar of Falah, NOWPDP provides wheelchairs and other assistive devices to individuals who need them the most. Through extensive outreach efforts, our teams have identified some of the most vulnerable persons with disabilities (PWDs) from marginalized regions of Sindh.
Thanks to your generous contributions over the past few months, we were able to provide four wheelchairs to PWDs in Larkana. These individuals face dual marginalization, as poverty and disability intersect to create significant barriers to their well-being. Most families in these regions lack the financial means to acquire essential assistive devices such as wheelchairs.
Assistive devices play a vital role in empowering PWDs, restoring their mobility, and enabling access to healthcare and economic opportunities. By enhancing their mobility, NOWPDP is actively fostering inclusion and enabling PWDs to participate in society as equal citizens.
Your continued support is crucial to helping us expand this mission across Pakistan, empowering more PWDs with the tools they need to lead independent and dignified lives. Together, we can create a more inclusive and equitable future.
