Persons with disabilities (PWDs) are mostly excluded from mainstream society, especially if they have an apparant physical disability. With their mobility being restricted, and no way to reach schools, offices and access public spaces, their situation becomes concerning.
With economic woes affecting almost everyone and threatening progress towards education and empowerment, one fact stays strong - your unwavering support towards the cause of disability inclusion. With your generous contributions, we have been able to impart the gift of mobility to Persons with Disabilities across the province of Sindh.
When our beneficiaries recieved the gift of their own wheelchair, they described it as an instrument towards change. Empowering men, women and children by providing wheelchairs to them is the first step towards mobilizing them to step forward to change their lives. One wheelchair allows a person to have access to a school, followed by seeking employement to support themselves and their family.
From all of us at NOWPDP we would like to take this chance to extend our gratitude towards you for being generous donors and making it possible for mobility to be gained by all.
We hope that you will continue to support us in our mission of creating an inclusive Pakistan, and a society that vows for change.
