NOWPDP, through its program The Rickshaw Project, is helping persons with disabilities overcome the physical and attitudinal barriers that prevent them from availing various opportunities from the society. Give 1000 Persons with Disabilities an Identity!
NOWPDP is facilitating the issuance of Special Computerized National Identity Cards (SCNICs) for persons with disabilities (PWDs), enabling members of this disenfranchised group to have access to their rights as Pakistani citizens and avail benefits offered by the public and private institutions for PWDs. Vocational Training for Children with Disabilities
NOWPDP, through its skills development program heARTwork, is providing training to children with disabilities in textile design and weaving. This project will provide curriculum development, training material, and training for trainers, and will support training of 150 students with disabilities in 2016 at 5 special schools. project reportread updates from the field
