Greetings from Sphoorti Foundation !
Trust all our friends are healthy and safe. Covid-19 has created extraordinary circumstances in our lives.
As a precaution, we re-integrated Sphoorti inmates with their extended families in the month of March as soon as the schools declared holidays. This has ensured that children are safe and away from Covid-19 infections. We are in touch with each of the children over telephone and Whatsapp. Fortunately, none of our children have been infected.
As the STD X Board examinations were postponed and are expected to be conducted in a month's time, we are making sure our children are studying and in touch with their teachers for guidance. Despite the lockdown conditions, the school teachers have been proactively guiding our children for the last 4 weeks.
Like any responsible non-profit organization, Sphoorti took a plunge in supporting migrant workers and daily wage laborers stranded in Hyderabad and other areas in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
