Dear forestry friends!
Recently, Iracambi partnered with The Nature Conservancy (TNC) to restore 5 hectares of land in the Atlantic Forest region. The project aims to plant thousands of native tree species, restore degraded areas, and create corridors for wildlife movement.
To monitor the reforestation progress, Iracambi is using drones to film the area. The footage captured by the drones is then analyzed to track the growth of trees, identify areas that require further attention, and assess the impact of the project on the local environment. The use of drones allows for efficient monitoring and helps the team make informed decisions about the reforestation process.
The successful restoration of 5 hectares of land is just the beginning of the project, as Iracambi plans to restore more land in the future. The partnership with TNC has been a crucial step towards achieving this goal, and the use of technology such as drones is making the process more effective and sustainable. With continued efforts, Iracambi hopes to contribute towards a greener and healthier planet for all.
We keep counting on you all to help us throught it as well!
Keep safe!
The Iracambi team
