A Healthy Meal Means An Active Brain

Happy Not Hungry Children - Thank You
Happy Not Hungry Children - Thank You

I hope this exciting update from South Africa finds you well. I am writing to share an inspiring update on our School Feeding Program in South Africa, which has been providing daily meals to 136 children at the kindergarten and primary school level. Over the past three months, thanks to the generosity of donors like you, we have been able to offer these children a porridge breakfast, fruit, and a warm meal five days a week, ensuring they receive the nourishment they need to thrive.

The impact has been tremendous, and these children are not only benefiting from better nutrition, but also from the stability and care that our program provides. However, as we approach the end of the year, we are seeking to raise an additional $400 USD to make this holiday season even more special for the children. With this donation, we hope to provide a festive treat that will bring joy and celebration to the community—a meal that goes beyond their usual nutrition, offering a little extra warmth and cheer to end the year on a high note.

In addition to the meals we provide, we’ve been able to significantly reduce our costs by growing our own vegetables through a dedicated veggie garden, which supplies fresh produce for the children every day. This initiative not only ensures that we can offer healthy, homegrown meals, but also helps us stretch our resources to feed more children.

We are incredibly grateful for the support we've received so far, but we need your help to continue our efforts and make this festive meal a reality. Every contribution, big or small, will make a meaningful difference.

Please consider donating to our School Feeding Program, either by contributing directly or helping us spread the word to others who may be interested in supporting this cause. Together, we can ensure that these children not only receive daily nourishment but also experience a holiday season filled with hope and happiness.

Thank you so much for your time, your generosity, and your commitment to making a difference in the lives of these children.

Warm regards,
