It is necessary to get a routine health checkup of children to make sure that he/she is not developing any major health issues. The age of 5-12 is critical and children often adopt unhealthy habits during this phase. With Healthians Kids Health Checkup, get 42 health tests and make sure your child is healthy.

Monthly once the Janani Home children are given regular medical check-ups to record their health and take the necessary measures to maintain a healthy life. On 15.04.2023 a medical practitioner visited the children at Janani Home for a regular check-up. It includes mearing their height, weight and to examine health condition in general. Medicines were prescribed for those who need.

Free Hearing Aid to beneficiaries of Prime Trust

Hearing loss is a common problem caused by loud noise, aging, disease, and genetic variations. About one-third of older adults have hearing loss, and the chance of developing hearing loss increases with age. People with hearing loss may find it hard to have conversations with friends and family.

Prime trust collaborated with Hear Zap, a company headquartered in Hyderabad was setting up their clinic in Puducherry.

The clinic was inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Puducherry, Shri N. Rangasamy on 31st March 2023. On an inaugural day, Hear Zap wanted to distribute free hearing aids to some of the beneficiaries sponsored by Prime Trust. Prime Trust was able to identify children and women to have free machines.

World Health Day happens every year and its goal is to teach people about important health issues, new medicines, and research, and to make sure that everyone can get medical help no matter where they live. It's a time to remember that taking care of our health is super important, and we should do things to be healthier.

Prime Trust in hands with Vel dental Team organized a dental health session for the children in Janani Home on 07.04.2023. The Dental doctors gave information about the importance of dental health and the significance of maintaining it.

Awareness Program for School going Children

Nowadays, mobile has become a priority in everyone's life, so every person uses them in their daily life for communication, business purposes, and other activities. We know that everything has its own impacts, good or bad. From the right perspective, the mobile phone is an extraordinary invention for humans, but using it for many hours constantly will create several problems.

Prime Trust organized an awareness session for the school-going children in Janani Home, Colas Nagar. On 18.03.2023 the students from Women’s Christian College, Chennai – Visual Communications department conducted an awareness program on the advantages and disadvantages of mobile phones for the school-going children from Muthialpet evening school, Janani home, and Rasu Udayar thottam. About 40 children participated in the program. Games were conducted for the children. Snacks and lunch were provided. The program started at 10:30 am and ended at 2 pm. Prime Trust thanks the students for their time and contribution. We wish them all the very best in their future endeavour.

Visit RUHSA, Christian Medical College, Vellore

The Rural Unit for Health and Social Affairs (RUHSA) was started by CMC as a response to the felt need for providing health care services to a most backward rural development block in Vellore district – K V Kuppam Block.

On 21.03.2023 the Prime Trust Founder Director, Mr. S.M. Arasu, Mrs. Mary, Program Manager, Mrs. Saraswathi, Coordinator, Akshaya Tailoring Unit, Varagupet village, Tindivanam, the MBA interns from S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai visited the RUHSA, Vellore. The team had a discussion with the Consultant,          Mr. Paul Das, regarding the possible Income Generation programs that can be implemented at the Varagupet Tailoring unit.

The income generation activity will be initiated soon with the guidance and support of Mr. Paul Das.
