Record rainfall has ravaged central and western Japan causing floods and landslides to force over 2 million people to flee their homes. In joint coordination with local authorities and other organizations, Civic Force is distributing emergency relief supplies, conducting search and rescue operations, and transporting people to safety. Your donation will provide relief items such as food, clean water, medicine, and clothing to those impacted who require immediate assistance. We need your help.
Over 2 million people in central and western Japan have been forced from their homes by floods and landslides. Search and rescue teams are sifting through mud and debris to recover bodies and transporting people to safer areas. These displaced people are facing both immediate (food, water, medicine, clothing, hygiene products) and long-term (loss of home, business) challenges. Civic Force is seeking your help in providing emergency items to provide for immediate needs.
Using this fund, Civic Force will package and deliver emergency food and water rations, clothing, hygiene products, and bedding supplies to displaced persons currently in evacuation sites. Basic medicines such as pain relievers and treatments for infections will also be distributed and available. With experience in responding to natural disasters in Japan since 2008, Civic Force is able to efficiently mobilize resources to utilize them in the most effective way possible.
With the provision of emergency supplies, thousands of displaced people will have their food, water, health, and sheltering needs met. This will alleviate those immediate concerns and allow the beneficiaries to plan the rebuilding of their homes, businesses, and communities.
