Early 2014 will see the families up at the Turning Point Farm achieve independence - they are very excited at the prospect of owning their own home, on their own land. Although no more families will benefit from this programme, unless future funding or partnerships allow, for those who have benefited, it has been a truly life-transforming experience. As of January 2014, 17 families, including nearly 60 kids, will have successfully completed the transition from Kibera to Kinangop. This is an amazing achievement for the parents who have worked so hard to adjust to rural life and for the various staff who have guided them through this challenging transition.
Turning Point, and these families, are very grateful to all of you who have prayed or given financially to enable these families to be free from the chains that bound them in Kibera. These families now have a different future ahead full of many prospects. Thank you for your contributions.
