Bonfire
Bonfire

Hello everyone ,

How are you? It’s been a while since we last spoke! Hope everything is going well for you!

Today we want to discuss with you about fire. Fire is an agent of natural relationship between microcosm and macrocosm. It’s a dynamic element because it generates transformations. Particularly, fire can purify all things, bringing them to a higher level of purity.

And Belen seems to understand that; do you remember her? She‘s our little girl whom was adopted by an Italian couple. She has just arrived in Italy with her adoptive parents and has started a new school with new friends and consequently new challenges.

Apparently in the very first moments she was scared about her new life but then … then she was on a trip with her new classmates and after a magical reunion around a bonfire she went back home and told her parents she was the most fortunate girl in the world because she found them: mom and father.

Something happened during that circle which made a big transformation in Belen’s heart. She understood that nobody was asking her to forget her origins, but just to include her present in her soul in order to create an explosive and warm future full of hope and happiness.

Therefore we also started thinking about how this big change impacted our home and our little girls; because as you know, dear donor, this has been our first adoption experience. We still feel sad and a bit nostalgic because we deeply miss Belen, but we are really happy to think that our girls may have the possibility to find a family forever, a family made of mum and dad.

We know we are (us and you) the family of these children, but to have the possibility of being desired by a beautiful family was a dream for Belen and probably the same could happen to the others.

We are considering the opportunity of being like a “family-bridge” for all the Mexican children who will leave a foot step in our home in order to help them find their future in Mexico or in another country of the world . As you can imagine, dear donor, this would be a big change for our organization because it would imply transforming Puerta Abierta in a big agent of transformation connecting lives, helping children to reconnect to themselves as we always did and then to connect them with their new adoptive family. What a big impact that would be for society!!

We are really grateful for the help you gave us; if all these changes are possible it is because you brought us a big part of what we need to allow children to attend school and psychological therapy, changing their destiny. Please, we still need you to help our Mexican children to transform their lives: “to bring them to a higher level of purity”, just like fire does…

We will keep you up to date

See you in the next report

With love
