Decisions of Members of Board: value to KIFA (Kole Intellectual Forum)

At Kole Intellectual Forum, the decisions made by their Non-Profit Organization (NPO) board of members are quite highly respected because those particular  decisions provide for the organization the most strategic direction, oversight, and accountability, as well as ensuring the organization remains focused on its mission, effectively manages their resources, and operates ethically; and ultimately, contributing to its long-term sustainability and positive impact on the community as per its assumed responsibility.

To Kole Intellectual Forum, the key values of board members' decisions for the organization are based on:

• Strategic Planning:

Boards set the overall vision and goals for the organization, deciding on key priorities, program development, and future directions, which guides the organization's work towards its mission.

• Financial Oversight:

Boards are responsible for approving budgets, reviewing financial statements, and ensuring responsible financial management of the organizational funds.

• Program Evaluation:

Board members critically assess the effectiveness of existing programs, identifying areas for improvement and making decisions regarding program continuation or adjustments.

• Leadership Selection and Evaluation:

Boards play a crucial role in hiring and evaluating the CEO or executive director, ensuring the organization has strong leadership aligned with its mission

Creating details of the projects Awareness to the Government 

In the same way that the organization, Kole Intellectual Forum is creating Awareness to the community to let them know about the establishment of the projects they are understanding and the ones they plan to undertake; the team of the organization on the other hand putting it across to the officials of Kole District Local Government so that they are made aware of what is happening at the organization and what is the intended plan.

In the picture above, it indicates the team of Kole Intellectual Forum presenting their case to the Education Officer, elaborating to him one by one, what they had been doing to their students in the previous years and the new project they intend to establish this year, 2025.

The Education Officer was impressed of the case and appreciated the support the donors on the platform is doing; and also at the same time advised the team of the organization to use the funds they getting in collaboration to the District office; especially, on the guidance.
