A balanced diet fulfills all of a person's nutritional needs. It comprises foods from five groups — fruits, vegetables, protein, grains, and dairy — and can help manage weight and reduce the risk of disease. A concept Kole Intellectual Forum is undertaking to be one of the component of reducing te spread diseases that will be implemented in its health facility.
Other than concentrating on treating diseases, Kole Intellectual Forum is looking at this approach as one of those that can help in reducing attack of diseases; since it is known that a good balanced diet protects one against many chronic noncmmunicable diseases, such as heart diseases, diabetes and cancer. Research conducted by many scholars reavel that:eating a variety of foods and consuming less salt, sugars and saturated and industrially-produced trans-fats, are essential for healthy diet.
Kole Intellectual Forum in its attempt to reduce spread of diseases, it is carry out research with the hope identifying ways that they can introduce different sources of food.
