Eight young mothers between the ages of 16 - 22 have been selected to continue our women empowerment program in the Amanful Community in Cape Coast.
These young mothers will be taken through the skill training process with their mentor who stays in the same community with them.
We are also hoping to help them in their business management skills as soon we are able to recruit the right volunteer for that aspect of the training.
The program which we are expecting to last the first half of this year is expected to reach a further twenty young mothers by the close of the year.
We are in negotiation with other women training centers in and around Cape Coast who are training women in fashion design to patronize the finish products by purchasing them.
This will enable the young mothers to earn capital while been able to get more materials for their practical.
We are excited that we are once again making impact in the lives of these young mothers, many of whom has drop out of school and has no means of livelihood. Kindly donate or share the stories of these mothers so that we will be able to reach our target by end of 2017.
Thanks
