From recent funds coming through donations on this platform, we have launched a slippers design project aim at providing livelihood for a single mother name Nana.
Nana is a mother of two and is unemployed. She learned the act of beads sewing some years ago but has been able to raise the necessary funds in order to start business.
After a series of meetings with her, we are glad to announce that we are helping her in opening her own company known as Empress Afik!
We have also agreed with Nana to help in training identified single mothers like her in incorporate them into her outfit.
We are hoping to work along with Nana in making these slippers for bulk purchases inside and outside of Ghana.
