Dear Donors,

Johny (names changed) is 2 years old. When he was admitted to the early learning centre he was far behind the age appropriate milestones in physical and social activities. He was given special care and attention by our teacher and now he is speaking few words, walking and playing with other children.

His mother who was desserted by his father feels happy for him and with gratitude she says, " Thank you for taking care of my child. My husband has filed a divorce case against me and I had been undergoing severe pressure for the past few years because of him. I could not take care of my two children as I had to earn for the family. New Life came to my rescue. My daughter attended the New Life's early learning centre and is now studying first standard in the nearby school. My son Johny is also taken care of well by New Life team. I am less worried about his growth now. He is provided with a meal in the noons and his age appropriate growth is being ensured by the team. He started speaking now and is walking, playing. Thank you donors for helping us through New Life!"

Children like Johny are being supported by your generous donations dear donors. During this quarter we received $102. The unspent balance from the last quarter is $102.5 With this amount we can pay the food expenses, salary of the teacher for two months and salary of the care taker for a month.

On June 24th, the organisation celebrated the beginning of its Silver Jubilee. On this day the Periyar EVR Nagar Ladies Club, Trichirappalli donated mats, slates, notebooks, etc. to the early learning centre children. We are thankful to them for their kind gesture. The early learning centre moved to a new place in the month of July.  The Indian Independence day was celebrated on August 15th.

Thank you for being with us in developing these poor, deprived children dear donors. Our children could not have grew without the support of noble hearts like you. Kindly keep spreading words about our project and help us support more children. Your words carry weight among your friends and relatives. Keep talking about our project.

Meet you in the next quarter with more news about the early learning centre.

With regards
