Dear Donors,

The children are yet to come back to the centre due to the restriction for the children to come to schools. However New Life is providing lunch for the children who are admitted to our early learning centre. To improve the immunity power of the children, Vitamin A was given to the children. This will improve their eyesight and help them overcome their deficiencies. 25 children were benefitted by this. Albendazole was also given to the children for deworming.

All safety measures are ensured to see that we provide safe and nutritious food to our children. We continue to pray that the world will soon recover from the pandemic COVID-19 and start functioning normally. We are waiting to see our beautiful children coming back to our learning centre and coaching classes soon.

To support the families of the children in our early learning centre and coaching classes New Life planned to give training to the women in their families with the support of Rotary Club of Trichirappalli Shakthi and Krishna Foundation. Skill training on wire basket making was conducted to 15 women in Kajapet who are from the families of our early learning children.

The training was completed on 9th October with an assessment. Certificates were given to the trainees. The program aims to give these poor women an additional income generating skill by utilising their leisure hours.

We thank all our donors for their valuable support to our organisation to provide food to the poor kids in spite of all odds and economic crunch during this pandemic. Kindly spread words about our work to  your friends and relatives so that we can continue to provide food to our children.

Thanking you once again.

Stay safe!
