  Handicraft & Fashion Skills Empowerment Report (Uganda)
Overview
This report highlights a vibrant outdoor handicraft and fashion stall at a community market in Uganda. The display reflects the growing role of small-scale entrepreneurship in empowering women and youth through practical vocational skills and creative production.
Products on Display
1. Woven Baskets & Handbags
The stall features colorful handmade baskets and handbags made from sisal, raffia, or recycled materials. These items are durable, reusable, and popular for both daily use and gifting.
Skills involved:
Basket weaving, color design, finishing, and product shaping.
2. Footwear
A variety of decorated sandals and flip-flops are displayed, including beadwork and floral designs.
Skills involved:
Footwear decoration, beadwork, and simple product customization.
3. African Print Fashion
Bright Ankara dresses, fabrics, and wraps are neatly arranged, showcasing local tailoring and fashion creativity.
