For nearly 10 years, Rising Minds has been grateful to share this journey with the GlobalGiving community. Throughout this time, the project has moved through many stages and iterations, evolving in response to the changing needs, ideas, and aspirations of the San Juan La Laguna community.
What began as an initial vision has grown through years of listening, learning, collaboration, and reflection. Along the way, we have had the privilege of connecting with local partners, educators, artisans, families, and community members. These relationships have helped shape our understanding of community priorities and have guided our work in areas including health, wellness, education, and social-emotional learning.
Each stage of the project has offered important lessons and opportunities for growth. Some initiatives have come to completion, while others have developed in new directions. Through every iteration, our commitment has remained the same: to approach this work with care, respect, responsiveness, and a deep appreciation for local knowledge and leadership.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the GlobalGiving supporters who have believed in this work over the years. Your generosity has made it possible for Rising Minds to build relationships, explore new ideas, develop resources, and remain engaged with the San Juan La Laguna community across nearly a decade of change and growth.
We are also deeply grateful to our community partners for their trust, collaboration, honesty, and continued willingness to share their perspectives. The progress made through this project belongs to everyone who contributed their time, insight, energy, and care.
