Continuing Our Path of Reflection and Renewal

Over the past several months, Rising Minds has continued the process of reflection and planning that we began at the start of 2025. This intentional pause has given us the space to listen more deeply to the San Juan La Laguna community and to consider how our work in health, wellness, and social-emotional learning (SEL) can best respond to current realities.
While we have not launched new programs during this time, our focus has remained on building strong foundations for the future. We’ve stayed engaged with local partners, revisited lessons from our past initiatives, and identified areas where community needs and Rising Minds’ mission align most strongly.
This period of evaluation is a vital step in ensuring that when we move forward, we do so with clarity, sustainability, and meaningful local impact. We are deeply grateful to our GlobalGiving community for your continued support and patience as we lay the groundwork for what’s ahead.

Listening, Learning, and Looking Ahead

Since the beginning of 2025, Rising Minds has focused on reflection, evaluation, and planning as we continue our commitment to health, wellness, and social-emotional learning (SEL) in San Juan La Laguna. We’ve used this transitional period to engage deeply with the community and reassess our approach in light of evolving needs.
This ongoing rediscovery process has included auditing past programs, gathering feedback from local educators and families, and identifying new opportunities for meaningful impact. These efforts are guiding the development of refreshed, community-driven initiatives that we aim to launch in the near future.
As we move further into 2025, we remain committed to building sustainable, locally-rooted solutions that reflect the voices of those we serve. We are deeply grateful to our GlobalGiving supporters for enabling this important groundwork and continuing to stand with us during this intentional phase of growth and renewal.

Happy Holidays from Rising Minds!

Over the past four months, Rising Minds has worked diligently to support health, wellness, and social-emotional learning (SEL). As the school year ended in October, we focused on impactful year-end activities, including SEL workshops.
We continued our rediscovery process, engaging with community members to assess evolving needs and adapt programming for the coming year. Educator training sessions further strengthened local capacity to integrate SEL into classrooms when school resumes in January.
Rising Minds remains committed to expanding programming, strengthening partnerships, and creating innovative solutions. As we prepare for 2025, we look forward to building on this progress. We extend heartfelt gratitude to GlobalGiving donors for enabling this vital work and helping create lasting change in the community of San Juan La Laguna.
