Empowering Orphans Through Education: A Milestone Update

Since our last update, Nyumbani Village has continued to empower young learners, with inspiring academic achievements that highlight the transformative impact of your support.

In the 2024 Kenya National Secondary Examinations (KCSE), 70 students from Lawson High School in Nyumbani Village sat for their exams. We are thrilled to report that 15 students secured direct entry to university, while the rest are set to join various tertiary institutions under our sponsorship. Meanwhile, at COGRI Vocational Training Centre (CVTC), 36 students took their exams, with an outstanding 35 passing—demonstrating their resilience and commitment to a brighter future.

Beyond secondary school, we are proud to celebrate two significant milestones. In October 2024, Steven, a Nyumbani Village beneficiary, graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in IT from South Eastern Kenya University. Just a month later, Susan, another bright young scholar, earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Literature from Egerton University. Their journeys are a testament to what is possible when education meets opportunity.

These successes would not be possible without your generous support. Every contribution you make helps us break the cycle of poverty through education, opening doors to a future full of promise. Thank you for being part of this incredible journey. Together, we are building brighter tomorrows!
