Dear Friends,
Thanks to your support, we are celebrating an exciting milestone for our Soar Girls in Syria. This past July, one of our squads of 15 girls officially graduated from the Project Soar in a Bag empowerment program!
After completing 25 workshops across the core modules of Value, Voice, Body, and Rights - totalling over 50 hours of empowerment sessions - these courageous and resilient girls marked their achievements with a joyful graduation ceremony.
As part of the celebration, the girls took part in a Wall of Dreams activity, where they reflected on the aspirations they are determined to pursue and how the program has given them tools to follow these dreams. Here are just a few of the inspiring goals they shared:
Together, these aspirations highlight a strong sense of responsibility - each girl’s dream is tied not only to her own future, but to contributing to those around her. This spirit of collective care lies at the heart of Project Soar’s empowerment curriculum. Our workshops build not only knowledge and confidence, but also bonds of sisterhood - fostering a supportive network where girls uplift one another and imagine brighter futures together.
Each girl’s voice and vision stand as a testament to the power of empowerment and the courage it takes to reimagine a different future for themselves and those around them. By standing with us, you help create a growing sisterhood of empowered girls determined to uplift their communities.
With gratitude,
The Project Soar Team.
