EMPOWER 200 RURAL WOMEN THROUGH POULTRY FARMING

A woman with opportunity can change the destiny of an entire family. Yet in rural Uganda, many women continue to face poverty because they lack access to business skills, financial services, productive resources, and sustainable income opportunities. Single mothers and caregivers of orphaned children are among the most vulnerable, struggling to provide food, healthcare, and education amid unemployment and climate-related challenges. This project will empower women through entrepreneurship training, financial literacy, savings groups, business mentorship, and livelihood start-up resources to establish successful enterprises. As women build stable incomes, families will become stronger, children will remain in school, and communities will experience greater economic resilience.
