Women are the backbone of rural Uganda's economy, yet many lack the opportunities and resources needed to achieve financial independence. Limited access to vocational training, productive assets, financial services, and employment leaves single mothers and caregivers of orphaned children struggling to meet their families' basic needs. This project will provide practical livelihood skills, entrepreneurship training, savings group participation, business mentorship, and start-up support to help women launch sustainable income-generating activities. With reliable incomes, families will improve nutrition, healthcare, education, and overall household resilience. Investing in women's economic empowerment is a powerful way to fight poverty, strengthen local economies, promote self-reliance, and create lasting change that benefits communities for years to come.
