Dear Valuable Donors,

Thank you very much for your support of our Noto Peninsula Support Program.

More than a year and a half has passed since the disaster, but we and our member NGOs are still working on the ground.

Due to the devastating damage caused by the Noto Peninsula earthquake that occurred on January 1, 2024, and the torrential rains that occurred in September of the same year, people in the affected areas have been suffering from long-term anxiety and stress, and the number of people suffering from insomnia is increasing.

In addition to providing material and health support, we are also focusing on mental care, such as human contact.

Japan is about to enter the rainy season. We intend to use our experience to work with local people in various ways to prevent the situation in the affected areas from worsening and to support their independence.
