By Naomi Muramatsu | Fundraisor and external communication staff
We, Japan Platform, have been providing support to the victims of the Noto Peninsula earthquake that occurred on January 1, 2024, but the damage caused by the torrential rains and floods that occurred in late September has caused even greater negative impacts to the affected areas.
Due to the additional damage caused to the area, it was decided to expand the program.
In the disaster-stricken areas, where the population is aging, not only the material and economic damage has increased, but also the mental and physical health of the people has been greatly damaged, and external support is needed.
We will be close to the people of the region and accompany the reconstruction of the communities together with our member NGOs.
Thank you for your support
