Dear valuable donors,
At 4 p.m. on New Year's Day this year, an earthquake with a seismic intensity of 7 occurred in the Noto Peninsula area.
Six months after the earthquake, about 2,000 people are still living in evacuation centers. In addition, people who have started living in temporary housing are also forced to suffer various inconveniences, such as the collapse of their homes where they have lived for many years.
Even if they were safe at the time of the earthquake, more than 50 people died due to the effects of the earthquake afterwards.
We, the Japan Platform and its member NGOs, continue our activities to protect the physical and mental health of those who survived the earthquake.
Thanks to your donations, our support is being delivered.
Best regards, Japan Platform
