Dear Partners and Friends,
We successfully reached 182 street-connected children through seven medical outreach activities conducted in the Nyegezi and Furahisha areas. Through these outreaches, the children received comprehensive support, including:
Nutritious meals
Essential medications
Screening for HIV/AIDS, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), schistosomiasis, malaria, typhoid, peptic ulcer disease, and intestinal worms
Health education and preventive care awareness
Shoes and clothing to protect them during the rainy season
These interventions not only addressed immediate health needs but also strengthened disease prevention awareness and improved overall well-being among vulnerable children in these communities.
Under the Mwanza Community Emergency Response Project, we responded to 112 emergency incidents across Mwanza. Our trained first responders, equipped with basic first aid supplies, managed a wide range of emergencies, including trauma-related cases.
We are proud to report that we have maintained an average response time of less than seven minutes, ensuring timely, life-saving assistance. Through your generous support, 280 victims have received emergency care from our first responders.
Your continued partnership is making a measurable and life-saving impact in our community. Thank you for your commitment to supporting these vital interventions.
