01. Project Name : Aged home for neglected elder person’s safe accommodation and food
05. Brief Description: Totally neglected elder persons with hunger and health issues were taken to our Home and are being supported by Food, clothes, medicine, recreation and safe accommodation. Their isolation and destitute condition are now changed. They are free of hunger, isolation and health issues. They are now with a group of aged persons in the home with happiness in sharing their thoughts and problems. More care and support in the home is provided.
06. Activities Taken:
a. Food and health provision – Daily food, nutrias and two times tea/snack daily are provided.
b. Recreation provision- Caram board and Chess with TV, News paper and Magazine are provided.
c. Health provision- Routine health checkup, Yoga and Naturopathy exercise / support is provided.
d. Accommodation – Psychological counseling is given to all inmates involving a counselor Ms.ASHA MSW.
07. Spot light of an elder: Ms.Kannammal (72) is an inmate, was affected by head Demur. She has been abandoned by her relation for her upkeep. She is staying from 300 Km distance since 2008 but last year, she was affected by the aforesaid disease. Then her son brought her to his home for treatment. But she stayed only 20 days with her families. Again she returned to the home and she is cared safely. It was difficult for her to get even one meal a day. She was weak in health due to age, hunger and health problems.
Now in your support she is free of the feeling of isolation. She is now with a group of aged persons in the home with happiness in sharing their thoughts and problems with each other. She is under care and support in the home. Her health problems are solved and she is free from hunger with safe accommodation. She thanks to all supporter.

She has been abandoned by her relation for her upkeep because of his age. It was difficult for her to get even one meal a day. She was weak in health due to age, hunger and health problems.
ROSI FOUNDATION took her before 5 years. Recently health issue has taken place. After treatment, she is now ok.
Now in your support she is free of the feeling of isolation. She is now with a group of aged persons in the home with happiness in sharing their thoughts and problems with each other. She is under care and support in the home. Her health problems are solved and she is free from hunger with safe accommodation. She thanks to all supporter.

07. Spot light of an elder: Mrs.Chinnaponnu (70) is an inmate, has affected by eye problem. She is a widow and aged. She has been abandoned by her family and unable to earn for her upkeep because of his age. It was difficult for her to get even one meal a day. She was weak in health due to age, hunger and health problems.
ROSI FOUNDATION has taken last month to a private hospital and put inpatient. In a cataract operation done, she is now ok. Now she is normal condition of health and her eye problem is solved
Now in your support she is free of the feeling of isolation. She is now with a group of aged persons in the home with happiness in sharing their thoughts and problems with each other. She is under care and support in the home. Her health problems are solved and she is free from hunger with safe accommodation. She thanks to all supporter.

c. Health provision – Health check up has been done one time by each month. Training on rheumatic pain, joint pain and preventive methods by herbal and exercise was given
d. Accommodation – Ms.ASHA, MS, W is our staff has given Psychological counseling.
07. Spot light of a elder: Mrs.Kasthuri is a inmate, has affected by Heart disease in the last month. She was taken to a private hospital but she was required inpatient treatment. So she was admitted and got treatment for 15 days. Now she is normal condition of health. She thanks to all supporter if she is orphan.
08. Conclusion: From the project, we are thanking to Global Giving Foundation as first and then to all donors of the project. The staff and volunteers are involved in this project, are thanked.
Further 27 elder Persons continuously are required the support. Further an own building support is required. We believe and request that the charitable minded people will help the programme through Global Giving.

c. Health provision – Health check up has been done three times in the duration. Training on Health education on sanitation, hygienic and diet were given. YOGA training was given
d. Accommodation – Psychological counseling have been given by a staff Ms.ASHA, MSW
07. Spot light of a elder: Mr.Muthu was a orphan without children and relations. He came to the home in 2010 and was staying in our home till 12.06.2012. He expired on 12.06.2012.
We have supported him with Food, clothes, medicine, recreation and accommodation. He was free of the feeling of isolation. He was with a group of aged persons in the home with happiness in sharing their thoughts and problems. Their health problems were solved and they are free from hunger.
In his death, we have made Interment work like what is done to other people with relation and son.
