Project Name: Aged home for neglected elder person’s safe accommodation ROSI FOUNDATION is running the elder home at Jeeva Nagar, Illuppur -622102, Pudukkottai district, Tamil Nadu state, India. Now 25 elder are/inmates and. they are totally destitute/orphan condition. They totally neglected are with hunger and health issues. .
Exclusively the home is for destitute / orphaned aged persons and they are inmates and getting 3 times Food, nutrias and two times tea/snack daily with safe accommodation. Recreation such Caram board and Chess with TV, News paper and Magazine are provided. Health support as health checkup, Yoga and Naturopathy exercise / support is provided with Psychological training. Ms.Asha MSW is doing counseling works.
They are now free of hunger, isolation and health issues exist. Isolation and orphans condition are now changed. They are with group of aged persons in the home with happiness in sharing their thoughts and problems.
Spot light: Mr.Meyyappan (72) is an inmate. He is elder and affected stomach pain. He has been abandoned by her relation for her upkeep. He joined in the home with severe hunger and health issues. Now he is staying in the Home since 2012.
By your kind support, he is free of the feeling of isolation, hunger and health issue. He is now with a group of aged persons in the home with happiness in sharing their thoughts and problems with each other. 05. Brief Description: The beneficiaries/inmates are either orphans or totally neglected from families or community. The elders are with hunger and health issues, were taken to our Home if they are unable to earn and survive due to age and health.
We are providing Food, clothes, medicine, recreation and safe accommodation. Their isolation and orphans condition are now changed. They are free of hunger, isolation and health issues. They are now with a group of aged persons in the home with happiness in sharing their thoughts and problems. More care and support in the home is provided.
06. Activities Taken:
a. Food and health provision – 3 times food, nutrias and two times tea/snack daily are provided.
b. Recreation provision- Caram board and Chess with TV, News paper and Magazine are provided.
c. Health provision- Routine health checkup, Yoga and Naturopathy exercise / support is provided.
d. Accommodation – Psychological counseling is given to all inmates involving a counselor Ms.ASHA MSW.
07. Spot light of an elder: Ms.Cauvery(67) is an inmate and widow, was affected by severe Rheumatic pain. She has been abandoned by her relation for her upkeep. She is staying in the Home since 2008. It was difficult for her to get even one meal a day. She was weak in health due to age, hunger and health problems.
Now in your support she is free of the feeling of isolation. She is now with a group of aged persons in the home with happiness in sharing their thoughts and problems with each other. She is under care and support in the home. Her health problems are solved and she is free from hunger with safe accommodation. She thanks to all supporter.
