Mobility is a key element in the area of activity implementation and service delivery to customers and beneficiaries. Without effective mobility, there is delay and failure in service delivery to clients and this affects the achievement of the set objectives. In order to serve the children better at Another Hope Children’s Ministries (AHCM), there was a need for a service van that triggered the effective mobility project that aimed at raising funds to purchase the service van.
The project started in January 2018 with the aim of raising USD 24,000 because it was the estimated amount needed to purchase the service van. This went on up to the month of August 2019 when the funds were raised to the full amount and the service van was purchased. The van is going to help in taking children to school, transporting staff members to visit the children in the boarding section. It will also help transporting the volunteers and staff when making community outreach and home visits. Taking the children for outings and picnics is going to be easy, accessing health centers in case of any emergency case since the service van is available.
We are so grateful for all the AHCM partners that helped to donate towards the Effective Mobility in service Delivery Project that the service van was bought which is helping a lot in meeting the vision and mission of AHCM
