Effective Mobility in children service

Another Hope Children’s Ministries a non-governmental organization is located in the village of kkona west zone wakiso sub- county, Wakiso District in Uganda. The organization helps to provide an improved quality of life to vulnerable children in Uganda through providing education, accommodation, and health care covering Districts within the central region such as Lweero, Mpigi, Mukono, wakiso and Kiboga. Few of the children on the program are accommodated because their relatives are unknown and others were abused by their families however the majority are from the community. Due to the different services that the children needed to access there is always a need for effective mobility therefore the management decided to purchase a service van to help deliver the children’s services. Transporting kindergarten children to schools every morning and afternoon is one the reasons the service van is needed. The other activities that the service van can help ease mobility include, transporting resident children to hospital to acquire health services, transporting children in boarding section back to school, visiting them and bringing them back at the end of the term. Shopping for food to feed the children and the staff, transporting children and volunteers to re-creation centers for outings and picnics. Without the service van, there is delay in delivering the services to children which affects their stay at the home. There are also too much costs incurred in transport which could be used to avail more needs of the children. The service van will go a long way to fulfill the organization’s vision of improving the quality of life of vulnerable children. Budget for the service van.
