Dear Friends of YKIP,
May this project report find you well.
The academic year of 2021-2022 ended last month. It was indeed a very hard academic year for us in Bali. It started with online learning for almost the whole first half of the semester. Then the schools opened with a very strict health protocol. Due to the emerging cases, the students were sent back home to study online. It was only several weeks before the final exam of the second semester when the students are sent back to school to study in the classroom together with their friends.
The hard work finally paid off when the students received their report cards at the end of the academic year. Of 137 senior high school-sponsored students, 52 of them are the happiest ones. They finished their education in Senior High School and received their completion certificate. We hope with a certificate at hand, they will be able to be a step closer to their dreams.
In the new academic year, there will be 74 students who enter Senior High School, while there will be 85 students who will study in grade 12 and finish high school next year.
We are grateful that we have donors and supporters like you. Thank you for opening your heart to support the underprivileged students in Bali to reach a better life in the future.
Thank you,
Stay safe and healthy,
YKIP Team
