As COVID continues to complicate our work, we felt the best way of working with the administration of the schools and the children is to focus on their school-gardens. We have brought a number of volunteers who worked with the children and made their garden teem with green and life.
The remedial classes are taking place on a slower time-tablle than our wish, but the children are catching up the lost time due to the lockdown and the impossibility of virutally learning in the rural region. The levels of the 30 pupils are quite disparate and yet they persist and show high interest in learning.
Our plan is to get them ready for school exams for the end of the academic year. If their rate of sucess is high (no less than 70%), then all of us would have succeded in making rural education a success.
Thank you to all of our donors
