Covid has changed a lot of things and among them, the return date to school. The Ministry of Education In Morocco has decreed the beginning of the school year to be the first of October. We are so much looking forward to working with the children in their schools and continuing our support to help them catch up on lost time this past year. Rural-based students have been the most affected by the closing up of schools and by the inability to receive virutal classes due to a host of reasons, from low internet connection, low quality phones and simply the difficulty for children to stay focused for a long time. We continue the work we do with them, our tours of homes and our meetings in the local open space. We have held remedial classes in the curriculum they missed, but we have also done important playing activities through which they learned and had fun. Thank you to the community of GlobalGiving for making this possible.
