Dear Valued Supporter,

Holiday season has begun, and along with it the frenzy of spending and slashed prices with Black Friday and Cyber Monday already behind us and more sales to follow. But today is a breath of fresh air among the consumerism - Giving Tuesday - a day to give back to organisations like us focused on critical issues, and in need of funding! And for today only, GlobalGiving are matching our donations - however small - with $75,000 up for grabs.

We have recently completed the EcoChic Design Award 2017 cycle but have an urgent funding gap to fill as we move into our 2018 cycle, so every penny really does count. Please give generously to help us continue our work!

Celebrating success

While funding is a challenge, we have much to celebrate with 2017 being our most impactful cycle to date in our seven year history of running the competition. Your support has helped us reach the following milestones:

  • A record 25,400 educated through ourEcoChic Design Award LEARN platform during the 2017 cycle
  • 790 reached in person with our educational talks and workshops
  • Our newly launched EcoChic Design Award ECUCATOR PACKS have already seen 380 downloads from over 60 countries
  • Over 1,500+ pieces of media and social media coverage across the cycle reaching global audiences
  • Over 1,500 tuned into the grand final via our livestream to witness the positive power of fashion

Next cycle we are taking the competition truly global to reach as many emerging fashion professionals as we can with the importance of reducing textile waste in one of the worlds most polluting industries.

All this would not be possible without you. Your continued support to our critical work in shifting the fashion industry forward is invaluable!

Many thanks,

Hannah Lane
