Educate a needy child in Malawi

Needed Action for Community Care and Development (NACC) would like to express its profound gratitude to you for the donation and the kind heart that you are demonstrating. Your donation has helped 3 needy students (2 females and 1 male). These students could have dropped or could not have reported to the national secondary schools that they were selected to. Your timely donation helped them to secure the place that they earned after working hard.

We are also excited that the supported students are performing extremely well. The living example is Enipher, during her national Junior Certificate Examination test, she scored grade A in 9 subjects and grade B in 3 subjects. This is amazing and genius.  We thank you our donors, your kindness is helping needy students from rural and underserved areas to fulfil their dreams.

NACC is collaborating with School Management Committees, Parents and Teachers Associations, Student Councils, Community leaders, Village Development Committees, Child Protection Workers and other key actors in education to ensure that learning environment is conducive and is promoting transition, persistence and performance.

We are excited that Educate a Needy Child in Malawi Project is impacting the lives of needy and hard working students in Malawi by sponsoring them to get quality secondary school education. During the quarter, 8 (5girls/3boys) new students were supported with school fees and writing materials. This brings to 14 needy students being supported by the project.

The students would have dropped out due to lack of school fees and scholastic materials. We are grateful that the project is renewing hope and aspiration of the needy students. 

The sponsorship is motivating students to work hard and do well in class. This improves transition, persistence and pass rate in our project schools, we are providing education counseling to parents to equip them with knowledge and skills to meet the needs of their children.   

We say thank you for the donation and your kindness. We know that there many equally important and pressing issues that need resources but you considered our needy students who are working hard to fulfill their dreams.  

 We are moved by Enipher's story who comes from a rural and hard to reach village, Makumba. She got excited when she got selected to Likuni Girls Secondary. However, her excitementment was short lived because she was chased back due lack of fees. Her mother could not afford to pay the fees.         "Your donation has renewed my dream of becoming a Nurse, I Say thank you" said Enipher.
