DYNAGEN CONTINUES WITH VARIOUS USEFUL ACTIVITIVIES

From September 2022 to April 2023, the Initiative for Community-LU Challenge 2022 with the theme “Sharing and Cohesion" was conducted to find creative initiatives and projects. Besides, encouraging and promoting the role of the young generation in solving community and society’s issues. Therefore, 05 best initiatives were selected for funding and implementation. Each initiative was funded by a maximum amount of 30,000,000 VND. The initiatives also received technical support from experts. The total number of beneficiaries from the 05 initiatives is nearly 4000 people.

On May 21, 2023, the talk show “Youth creating social impacts" was held with the participation of experts in the field of development and 60 young people from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city. In addition to the DynaGen - Live United members, the event was open to all young people interested in the topic through offline and online platforms. At the talk show, the speakers answered questions such as: What is volunteering for? How do you volunteer properly? How to communicate in the volunteering process?

On July 25-26, 2023, the 3^rd-generation DynaGen - Live United Closing Ceremony was successfully organized. The event gathered nearly 80 excellent members from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city with outstanding activities such as Teambuilding, Gala Dinner and Closing Conference.

On the afternoon of July 25, 2023, DynaGeners participated in Teambuilding activities with the theme "The Amazing Race,” of which the members had to pass various rounds to find the hidden message. In the evening, the Gala Dinner with the theme "Convergence and Cohesion" was held, and DynaGen - Live United members had bonding time to look back on the emotional journey, as well as share their feelings, experiences, and personal development after nearly a year of participating in the project.

On July 26, 2023, the closing workshop was held, including activities such as Debating social problems, Giving thanks to the Advisory Board and the Executive Board, Giving DynaGen - Live United Awards to individuals and groups with outstanding achievements, and certificates to all 3rd-generation members.

The journey of the 3rd-generation DynaGen–Live United ended with memorable milestones. This is the premise for the members to continue to reach out and make positive contributions to the community and society.

DynaGen - Gen 4 (school year 2023 – 2024) will be launched in September 2023.

DynaGen with useful activities

The training coure "Improving for success"

On January 4, 2023, DynaGen - Live United students together with For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF), TH Group cooperated with the National Acupuncture Hospital to organize a year-end meal program for children at the hospital. This is an activity within the framework of the program "Heart to Heart" - bringing thousands of nutritious meals to disadvantaged children across the country, organized by TH Group and VSF.

In this program, the 3rd DynaGen - Live United students participated in activities such as wrapping cake, distributing meals and gifts to patients at the hospital. Accompanying the program not only gives DynaGen members the opportunity to participate in meaningful community activities, but also helps them have extremely interesting experiences.

On January 8, DynaGen - Live United members participated in the training course "Improving for success". At the training course, the trainees learned how to work deeply to increase work efficiency, and know how to prioritize tasks. Besides, the speaker shared with the students effective time management skills and learned how to observe things. With specific examples, the students learned how to manage their time with tools like STUN, POMODORO,...

During the period from March 7 to April 28, the Office Tour for all students of DynaGen - Live United was carried out at 11 companies and NGOs in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Through the Office Tour program, the students heard representatives of enterprises and organizations share about the mission, vision, activities/projects that the organizations/enterprises are implementing, corporate culture, job opportunity. From there, students have more information and knowledge to determine their career path.

DYNAGEN - Live United STUDENTS JOINED THE TRAINING

Training "Design and write the project proposal"

During the period from September to December 2022, students of the DynaGen Live United Program continuously participated in 5 skill training courses, along with many meaningful volunteer activities.

The first training course took place on September 25 with the content: “Design and write the project proposal”. Through the course, trainees learn about the project cycle, how to define the core problem, how to create a problem tree, how to use the needs-based approach and the rights-based approach, how to structure a project proposal, how to use a logical framework, and other techniques for project design.

On October 22, the second training course was conducted with the topic “Communications create impact”, trainees had learned about 16 immutable communication concepts, star light rules and how to insert messages into a story so that making it more attractive.

“Knowing yourself and managing goals” is the title of the next course which held on October 30th. Through the Holland Doctrine, trainees can align themselves with the demands of the jobs. From their giving guidance for their future careers. The four primary behavioral type categories on the DISC multiple-choice exam are Dominance (D), Influence (I), Steadiness (S) and Compliance (C). Based on these personality groups, trainees can apply in communication to know the other person's personality through observing their behavior, thereby creating effective communication.

The fourth training course, with the topic "Conquering employers," was organized on November 27. Participants in the training session gained knowledge of labor market trends as well as abilities in preparing resumes, interviewing and surviving the businesses' probationary term.

Alongside the skill courses. Trainees can also participate in the program “Career Mentoring 1-1”. In this program, each trainee is paired with a single mentor in the same field of expertise. Each mentee can meet with their mentor up to three times, each time up to two hours. Through meetings, mentors will help trainees identify career goals, suitable jobs and plan actions to achieve their goals. At the same time, increase confidence and competitiveness when participating in the labor market.

In addition to the aforementioned activities, the "Initiative for Community 2022 - Sharing and Connecting" was put into place to discover creative projects, ideas, and initiatives that aid in resolving social and community issues, motivating and promoting the young generation's participation and involvement in community development initiatives. After assessing nearly 20 initiative suggestions submitted by trainees, the organizing committee selected 6 initiatives to award grants, each initiative will get 30,000,000 VND for implementation.

In the coming time, students will carry out initiatives for the community and continue to join in skill courses within the framework of DynaGen's training program.
