Jim Tanis was a man of grace, character, and all things in between. He was the founder of Bwindi Community Program along with his wife, Jan. He leaves the world behind and now rests in Peace. However, he left the world a gift of Mini-Tower Computers.
His gift to the school will enhance the Library he loved. A place to study and learn, this represents the epitomy of his quest. He wanted to have the students learn of the world around them. He loved to investigate the small things to the large. This will help the students navigate the world and research the subjects they choose.
He smiles today knowing the gifts given in his honor have been converted to a broader use. They will provide the school with a bigger base to operate, a wider range of subjects for the students to investigate. He smiles today and knows of the generosity of his friends. All is right in the world.
