‘’ I heartily thank my well-wishers and supporters for helping and encouraging me to continue my education and provide shelter at Muktashala where I feel very safe and secure. Earlier I used to drop my school and migrate with my parents at their work place.

Your generous support gives me courage to continue my education and excel in sports which I love a lot. Now I am doing well in academics with help of Muktshala's after-school support and also, I have been able to pursue my dream in sports. I won first prize in 100 meter running competition and second prize in 200-meter running. Also, I have been awarded with various sport certificates by school in group sport competitions such as Khoko, race and kabaddi.

My future goal is to become an Indian Army officer’’---- “Avinash”

Avinash Ashok Jadhav, 11 years old is a resident of Kothurde village, Mahad, Raigad district of Maharashtra. He is studying in 6th standard in “Jijamata High School” at Mahad.  His parents work as labour on daily wages, thus whole family periodically migrates for work to different locations. In the given situation , he and his siblings had to discontinue school every now and then. Now because of Muktashala programme children like “Avinash” have a safe and secure place to stay and they can continue their formal education.

Like Avinash , there are many more children of migrant parents who need your support …….
