Children explore interest and enhance creativity

By Sangeeta Dasmohapatra | Project Leader

Hand writing Enhancement Program
Hand writing Enhancement Program

When children participate in multiple activities, they get the opportunity to explore a range of interests and unlock passions they were never aware about.

Tribes are the people with different way of living having their own culture, customs, language, religious belief etc, which make them different from other communities. The way of living influences the way the tribal children are in comparison to other children. These children due to lack of exposure are shy and restrict themselves from getting involved. These children thus lack skills such as leadership, communication, reading and writing skills, etc. This affects their personal, professional growth and thus leads to lack of interest in school due to not able to compete with other children and this further lead to school dropout.

With your generous support we were able to help 57 tribal children continue their education, Various activities were conducted to help them develop different skills.

Handwriting skill development program

50 tribal children actively participated in capacity building training which was conducted by Mr. Chandan Todankar, the expert in writing and drawing skills. It was very interesting and children loved the training programme. Through the interactive session children were guided on importance of good handwriting skills and also tips were given on how to improve the current writing and enhance creative writing skills. There were learning games also conducted with children during the sessions.

Art and drawing competition

57 children participated Art and drawing competition. Children took initiative in group activity on making useful materials from the waste and also participated in drawing competition.

Thanks for all your support.

Help us in upgrading the skills of these children through many more activities!
